‘Life without Life’ to screen in NY

Iranian movie ‘Life without Life’ has been scheduled to vie at the March 2018 edition of NewFilmmakers New York festival in the US.

Directed by Kaveh Moeini Far, the flick is this time competing in the north American festival.

Part of the synopsis reads, ‘a music trainer, Satiar, is facing his father’s cancer, and amidst death and music, it is life that is going on, part of the synopsis reads’.

Among the film's cast are Abbas Attai, Amir Vazzan and Marjan Sadeqi.

Launched in 2000, the NewFilmmakers festival selects films and videos often overlooked by traditional film festivals. It aims at giving filmmakers the opportunity to exhibit and distribute their films directly to the public.

This month’s edition of the festival is slated to be held on March 28.
